Both Anna & I would like to thank everyone who voted for and allowed us to win the award for The International Column of the Year 2013 at The Beat Awards held at Oamaru in the South Island of New Zealand. It was a total shock and lovely surprise for us both. We would like to take this opportunity to also mention ALL the other columnists who give us great insight to what is going on in the world of our wonderful pastime. Mike & Chrissie do a great job too and we would like to thank them for there support. We are meeting with Chrissie this month to collect 'Art's Trophy', which is sponsored by Mary Stanley-Sheperd in honor of her late husband Art. 
The article is a light hearted look at where we go, who we see, what we do and so forth each month. And of course what dances are being taught and danced here in the UK. It is very gratifying knowing people are reading & enjoying our column, just as much as we enjoy reading the magazine each month. Thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts.
